Bike Voucher Applications Open
The government has released further details on how to apply for the bike repair voucher scheme.
The scheme allows members of the public to receive a voucher worth up to £50 towards the cost of repairing a bicycle.
An initial 50,000 vouchers will be made available online today, on a first-come, first-served basis. The vouchers will be released in batches to help manage capacity.
Registrations for members of the public who want to apply for a voucher open at 11:45pm on the 28th July 2020 on the Energy Saving Trust website.
The scheme is open to anyone in England who has an unused cycle in need of a repair. Vouchers can only be used with bike repairers or mechanics who are registered for the scheme in England. A maximum of 2 vouchers can be claimed per household.
